I need some advice! I came across a job hiring at a private surgical practice in my area. They are hiring for different positions (front desk receptionist, billing specialist, insurance verification specialist, and administrative assistant). I'm a CPC- A but I have no experience. I have been looking for a coding job and I heard that it's best to get a receptionist job first so I can get my foot in the door. Should I apply for this receptionist job and should I include in my cover letter that I want to get a coder position sooner or later? Or should I just focus on what they could expect of me as their receptionist? Please leave some feedback.
